Converse Mania

Mmmm....for all those who ever thought Converse shoes were outdated and reserved to Marty McFly: here is the good news! Converse are very "IN" in London!
Indeed I have never seen so many different models as here: the high boots, the very low trainer, the Jack Purcell, the sequins, the stylish converse with the smart branded blazer for the business people,...
I guess this is good news for all of us Converse fans: we love them because they are comfortable and because they won't hurt our poor feet who need to walk down the London streets all day and now we can adore them because YES we might wear them in the workplace!!!!So thank you ,thank you, thank you!
I won't give up my Jimmy Choos, but sometimes I have to admit it is such a good feeling to wear basic trainers!

Drizzle on a Sunday morning

10 am, Starbucks . How I missed that: sipping your latte and staring at SB customers! I've moved to London for a week and as corny as this may sound I just love the coffee shop culture. Good service is guaranteed, good music and comfy sofa always available....and the show just begins.
"Hey baby, what's up? What do you mean where did I spend the night?! Told you I was at Mark's....what?...why are you getting so upset?....look I am really not in the mood alright? I'll see you later...yeah that's it.." ...oh Christ...

and at the other table two cute old Japanese ladies, tourists for sure as one of them is deeply absorbed in her London A to Z. They both wear Burberry trench coats, but have Nike shoes on their feet: I'm not sure the day is optimal for a long walk though...
They don't speak a word to each other, but they stare at each other's eyes as they bite their raisin scone slice which is drowning under strawberry jam. No reaction on their face, but a long chew suggests a curiosity in the bread taste;)

and at this table just me and my "Inner life of Martin Frost". Paul Auster always sets me in the right mood, like anything is possible in your life and anything may happen: you just need to believe it and be curious. I love the way Martin and Claire are falling in love, so spontaneous and unpredictable...
Walking back home I just think about this, my blog, sharing my thoughts and tiny adventures...
